Opportunity
We have a vacancy for a HR manager to provide proactive HR leadership for a workforce of 125 people that operate in our offices in London, Manchester, Bristol and Birmingham.
CampbellReith is a leading firm of consulting engineers providing structural, civil, land quality, geotechnical, environmental and transportation engineering design services, throughout the UK and overseas.
Role
The role will involve the coordination with administration, finance and business development teams to lead the following key areas:
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Training
- Career Development and Performance and Review
- Support and welfare
- Policies and Procedures
- Other HR related duties that may arise
It will be a pivotal role within CampbellReith to support the Business Plan ‘core pillar’ of People & Culture which seeks to pro-actively expand capability in the following:
- Recruitment performance
- Onboarding, training, growth and performance
- Team member support and welfare
Key Experience
- Relevant experience of HR management at a senior level for similar sized organisations
- Experience of consultancy and preferably engineering consultancy
- Experience of an SME environment
- Experience of working with a small support team
- Experience of HR reporting and systems
- Knowledge of HR law

- Interested in developing and adding value to an SME
- Experience of Excel, Microsoft access, e-learning platforms
An interest in introducing and developing AI to the recruitment and communication processes of the business is also of importance.
A key part of the role will be reviewing the existing HR systems and streamlining and improving them.
Education
- Educated to A level or equivalent
- Bachelor’s degree
- CIPD professional qualification (CIPD) or equivalent (Qualified by Experience)
