Progress continues on site as the concrete frame for Block 4 within the Wornington Green / Portobello Square development approaches completion.
The building is the first to be constructed within Phase 2 of the wider redevelopment of the Wornington Green Estate by Catalyst Housing. The building was designed by Conran + Partners Architects and the main contractor for the works is United Living.
The completion of the frame will be a significant milestone for this building which is constructed in close proximity to a boundary with Network Rail and the Paddington Mainline.
When complete in 2019 the building will provide a mixture of 91 affordable and private sale dwellings and form another important part of the wider estate redevelopment.
