CampbellReith has been recently appointed as the preferred supplier on Purbeck District Council’s Framework for the provision of Contaminated Land Consultancy Services following a recent public procurement process.
The three year framework will see the provision of consultancy services to assess potentially contaminated sites under Part IIA of the Environmental Protection Act (1990) and provide technical advice on Planning Applications. The investigation, assessment and remediation of contaminated land requires an understanding of many different specialist disciplines that CampbellReith possesses in-house as part of our multi-disciplinary approach. We regularly provide Pre-Planning Consultancy Advice to our clients such as technically robust site investigation strategies, detailed risk assessments and remedial design and so we are able to utilise this experience to ensure that Purbeck District Council receive sufficient information when considering planning applications.
James Clay, Partner at CampbellReith, said about the appointment: “We are delighted to have been selected as the preferred supplier by Purbeck District Council and intend to work closely with the Council’s Contaminated Land Team to deliver bespoke support on a range of contaminated land and environmental issues. We are looking forward to building on this relationship and continue to deliver a high quality service to the South West”.
