After two years of tendering and managing the demolition works and the safe extraction of asbestos at the former Colt International site, we are thrilled to see the slab and obstruction removal progressing well. This new development, half of which are affordable homes, will provide 100 much-needed homes for the community of Havant, and we are delighted to be working on such a project.
CampbellReith also designed an enabling works package, intended to reduce ground risk and programme. Drew Smith, the principal contractor, is responsible for the slab removal and remediation works in line with the developers’ reserved matters application. Together, our approach has significantly reduced the overall programme.
