CampbellReith hosted our annual Clay Pigeon Shooting event on Thursday 12th September at Bisley shooting ground in Woking, Surrey.
This event has been celebrated since 2006, and it brings the opportunity to meet with colleagues and clients while enjoying a day outdoors in an informal atmosphere.
After guests arrived at the lodge, instructors led our 8 teams to the training area to start with the safety and technical guidance before the practice session began. The instructors were fantastic as always and assessed the team’s experience and gave tips and help where required. Many of our attendees had never been clay pigeon shooting before and were very complimentary of the event!
We were lucky to have perfect sunny weather conditions albeit a bit chilly but mid-morning snacks and hot soup were a real treat! The main competition began shortly after comprising 24 clays over 4 stands.
After the competition ended, the morning was rounded off with a 25-cartridge exhilarating team flush.
Back at the lodge, prizes were handed out to the highest scoring team, the winner of ’top gun’ along with Clay Conservationist. Prize giving was followed by a 3-course lunch in the Dining Room.
CampbellReith would like to thank all participants and instructors for such a smooth and enjoyable day!
