CampbellReith is thrilled to have won the Best Sustainable Brownfield/Urban Regeneration/Infrastructure Scheme for our project, Kilnwood Vale, at this year’s Brownfield Awards!
The judges said: “A great project example, not only addressing a legacy issue but bringing a site forward for development, with good links to the UN SDGs”.
This is the second year in a row that CampbellReith has received an award for our specialist geo-environmental services and this year also recognises our dedication to promoting Sustainability and Social Value.
The event was attended by several partners and collaborating members of staff from our London, Manchester and Bristol offices and across our land quality, regeneration, geotechnical and engineering teams.
James Clay, lead CampbellReith Partner for the winning scheme, remarked: “We have supported the Brownfield Awards since their launch in 2004, and winning in this category on the 20th anniversary is thrilling. This project lasted 10 years from inception and has been a fabulous learning experience for all those involved. A very supportive Client and professional team and an integrated technical approach have delivered a major urban regeneration of real worth”.
