My father is an Engineer, so it was inevitable that I would go into a technical field. After completing an introductory Engineering course, I began working as a Draughtsman in 2000 as an apprentice for a relatively small company, it was here that I really learned the nuts and bolts of Structural Engineering. I worked mostly on small to medium sized projects but there was strong emphasis on understanding everything I was draughting and so the Engineers would take the time to explain the design and its implementation.
After 13 years I decided it was time to move on so that I could learn Revit and try and get ahead of the curve. I worked my way through small to medium to large consultancies culminating in joining CampbellReith as CAD Manager. Having spent 2 years working at CampbellReith previously I knew the company well and re-joining was an easy decision.
My role at CampbellReith is to manage the resourcing and the team in general, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and to a high industry standard.
Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my wife and 3 children. My hobbies are football and boxing.
