I have been working in the ground investigation industry after graduating in Geology from the University of Plymouth in 2015. During the early stages of my career, I have worked as a site technician and engineering geologist, where I developed a strong understanding of soil and rock properties. This ultimately led to studying the MSc Engineering Geology course at the University of Portsmouth. Since completing this course in 2019, a large part of my work has been supervising ground investigations for wind turbine and solar energy sites, where my career was focused on establishing ground model parameters, producing interpretive ground investigation reports and understanding the complexities of the local geologies.
Having joined the Bristol Geotechnical team, I am really excited to be working with the CampbellReith multidisciplinary consultancy on diverse and interesting projects.
As a chartered geologist with a strong practical background in site investigations, I am confident I can add value communicating ground conditions to engineers of various disciplines.
Outside of engineering
Outside of engineering I love spending time with my family, riding bikes in Devon and travelling.
