Before joining CampbellReith I was working at WSP and ASG on new builds in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates. After spending several years in the Middle East, I decided it was time for a change. I was attracted to CampbellReith and its diverse portfolio. I hope to now develop more diverse experience in both new build and refurbishment and to learn the various design practices within the UK.

My role entails working alongside an Associate to provide support and deliver structural design, which involves calculating loads on structural systems and designing them to withstand environmental elements, at the same time meeting the Architects requirements. I enjoy the problem solving aspect of design work and the collaboration, and building a rapport with various parties involved in delivering on a project.

The best part of being a Structural Engineer is once the project is built you have the insider information on how much work and planning and the various disciplines that were involved and creating a client’s vision.

Outside of Engineering

During my free time, I enjoy building on skills that I would like to develop further, Classical Arabic, hangar embroidery and coding.
