I have been working as a Document Controller for over 30 years. I spent my first 27 years at KBR (formerly MW Kellogg Ltd) working on some of the largest oil and gas projects. Over the years, I moved with KBR from London to Leatherhead and was one of the last Document Controllers to leave the team. Following this, I moved to work with an M&E Contractor on the 100 Bishopsgate Project as well as other developments in the UK. I also spent over a year working on Crossrail.
Given my technical experience, hardworking attitude and time in the industry, I have a wide knowledge of a range of EDMS systems and how to apply them to small and large project documents in engineering design and build.
Following the pandemic, I joined CampbellReith and am enjoying learning to work with a unique clients and project database and a new team of IMS, EEC members.
Outside of engineering
I enjoy baking and spending time with my young grandchildren. I have been baking for over 30 years and have made a number of wedding and occasions cakes including for my own children (Instagram – @js.cakes). I also enjoy yoga and meditation and attend classes twice a week.
