I began my structural engineering career in 2004 for a large engineering firm in Manchester. I achieved a post-graduate Masters in structural engineering which enabled me to be become a chartered engineer with the Institute of Structural Engineers.
Starting out as a graduate for a large engineering firm, I worked in the aviation department, I loved being involved with designing a large terminal and learning about the operational aspects of an airport. Throughout my career, I have been fortunate to work on a range of commercial developments with projects of all shapes and sizes.
I joined CampbellReith in 2016 and enjoy working as part of a diverse team in Manchester. My role involves supporting our clients across a number of sectors including the commercial and events industries.
Whilst commercial building projects are my main interest, the events industry provides exciting opportunities – working on major international events throughout the UK, Europe, and worldwide exhibitions. Special moments for me were inspecting my own structural designs displayed in Cannes, France and the Hockenheim Grand Prix!
Outside of engineering
Away from work, I enjoy the outdoors, playing tennis as much as I can and spending time with my family.
