Our current infrastructure project North Bexhill Access Road was recognised in the recent ICE South East England Awards. Breheny Civil Engineering, with whom we have closely worked to develop this project, received the Brassey Award (Kent and East Sussex) for Engineering Excellence in association with Berryrange.

The project is a 2.4km single carriageway road which provides a strategic link for East Sussex residents and businesses, opening up new employment opportunities and the potential for over a thousand new homes for the area. The judges were particularly impressed by the sustainability practices used and the innovation employed across the scheme.

14 infrastructure and building projects were shortlisted for the annual awards, which took place at the Grand Brighton on Thursday 27 July 2017. The Brassey award was presented by past ICE President Professor Jean Venables and Maggie Philbin, TV personality; President of the Institution of Engineering Designers and co-founder and CEO of TeenTech.
