CampbellReith with EHDC-RegenCo has been appointed as multi-disciplinary Consultant taking forward the Reserved Matters Application for the spine road and supporting infrastructure to unlock the development of 650 new homes, and submitting an Outline Application for Phase 2 to extend the development by 210 additional units in Panshanger. CampbellReith input to the project has included civil engineering, land quality, geotechnical assessment, traffic and transportation and Environmental Impact Assessment.
GIS has been used to review the initial information from the outline planning application and develop a plan showing the site constraints. This, combined with the proposed site layout, helped to identify the areas to be targeted by ground investigations. Following their completion, GIS was used to analyse the data collected to determine the locations of contamination exceedances, groundwater levels, mineral distribution and anticipated soils at formation level across the site.
GIS has also been used to support the drainage strategy, desk study, environmental screening report, construction environmental management plan and transport assessment.
