The Schrödinger Building, the latest incorporation to the Oxford Science Park, will provide 61,500 ft² of accommodation to host offices and research laboratories for over 300 people.

The park now accommodates over 70 companies and strides to ‘provide an environment that inspires creativity’ going beyond the normal levels of employee expectation. 75 acres of beautifully landscaped ground is hoped to make the work-life balance far more enriching in what seems a very enriching project.

CampbellReith was responsible for the civil and structural services of the two-wing four-storey building with a column free layout. It has been designed to be both visually interesting and environmentally friendly, with a large panoramic roof-terrace at third floor and an external exposed steel canopy over the entrance with a louver style grillage.

The Schrödinger building was shortlisted for the New Build Office category at the BCO South of England & South Wales Awards.
