Cheshire East Council sent a revised planning application to build a £1.6m watersports and adventure park in Cheshire. The application was first submitted back in 2015, and has experienced some issues with the initial approval from the council, the Cheshire Lakes Community Interest Company hopes for a positive outcome this year.
The Cheshire Lakes project will give a new use to two existing lakes created for the quarry’s restoration. The park will include wakeboarding, open water swimming, canoeing and paddle boarding facilities.
CampbellReith Manchester team has been working on the planning and design of this waterpark by undertaking feasibility studies, with further involvement to come in the following months. We are looking forward for the planning application to be approved.
