I was born and raised in India. After completing my bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology, I joined a small consulting firm in India, where I worked as a graduate civil engineer. Later, I moved to the UK in 2021 to pursue my master’s degree in geotechnical engineering. I completed my MSc from Newcastle University and joined CampbellReith, marking the beginning of my professional journey in the UK.
What inspired me to pursue a career in geotechnical engineering is the simple fact that one cannot just look up all the answers in a book. Geotechnical engineering plays a vital role in modern infrastructure, but it entails numerous uncertainties. The varied composition of the ground, the inherent challenges it creates, and the room to innovate and overcome risk drive my enthusiasm for this dynamic and impactful field.
Outside of engineering
Outside of my professional life, I find comfort and inspiration in the creative arts. I enjoy sketching, painting and photography, and lately, I’ve been experimenting with digital art to explore new creative possibilities. I’m also interested in motorsports and football, and I love playing video games during my free time.
